a.      The mandatory FY 27-30 TIP Call for Projects meetings will be held on Tuesday, December 17 from 1 - 2:30 p.m. at the TxDOT San Antonio District Office and Thursday, December 19 from 2:30 – 4 p.m. at the Alamo Regional Transit Office (next to AACOG).  Both meetings will be similar in content and format and attendance at only one is necessary to meet the requirement. Both meetings have a virtual option. Calendar invites went out on Friday, December 6. 
b. The Your Move public engagement site is open to collect input and comments on various topics to be covered in the Mobility 2050 update. The survey and mapping tool will remain open through October 2025 and the updated document is slated for local approval in May 2026. The details will be presented at the January meeting along with the proposed revisions to Policy 2, AAMPO’s Public Participation Plan.
c.      AAMPO offices will be closed Wednesday, December 25 in observance of Christmas Day and Wednesday, January 1 for New Year’s Day.
d.      Cecilio Martinez, AAMPO’s GIS Manager, has been offered and accepted the position as AAMPO’s Transportation Planning Program Manager. Cecilio has been with the agency since 2003. He has successfully led the GIS Section creating interactive maps and apps for public information and engagement and has led various planning efforts during his tenure.
e.      AAMPO’s Director, Sid Martinez, has announced his retirement effective December 31, 2024. Sid has been with AAMPO since 2003, was named Interim Director in 2005, and officially named Director in 2007.
