    a.    The AAMPO Multimodal Regional Thoroughfare Study, Subtask 4.7 in the FY26-27 UPWP, procurement has resulted in three teams being shortlisted. The Policy Board will take action at the March 23, 2026 meeting. A special thank you to the consultant selection committee for their time and efforts reviewing the eight proposals.

    b.    The FY27-30 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is being finalized. All local partners, with programmed projects in the existing FY25-28 TIP that have had any scope or fee changes, must contact AAMPO staff at projects@alamoareampo.org by Friday, March 20, 2026.

    c.     AAMPO will host a series of public meetings in March to gather input on the Draft FY27-30 TIP. Meetings will be held in Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Medina, and Kendall Counties, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and presentations beginning at 6:00 p.m. The public comment period runs from March 16 through April 16, 2026. Public review and comments may also be submitted online at www.alamoareampo.org/yourmove.

    d.    The Freight Advisory Committee will meet on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 10 a.m. to noon. Agenda items and location are forthcoming. If you wish to be invited, please contact Sonia at jimenez@alamoareampo.org.

    e.    The AAMPO regional bus tour will conclude with Medina County on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Thus far, the tour has been a success. AAMPO’s new Executive Director Brendon Wheeler and staff have visited project locations and gained valuable insights and more familiarity with the Study Area. A presentation will be provided at the March Policy Board meeting.

    f.      This summer, AAMPO will be convening a technical workgroup(s) to inform next steps based on strategic direction from the Transportation Policy Board. Given the boundary expansion, challenges related with air quality conformity, and normalization of statewide lettings based on revenue forecasts, the Board may wish to be more aggressive in developing innovative partnerships and creating a system-focused pipeline of regional projects in the long-range plan to better feed an implementation-ready Transportation Improvement Program.

    g.    The AAMPO office will be closed on April 3, 2026 in observance of Good Friday and Friday, April 24, 2026 in observance of Battle of Flowers holiday.

    h.    The next AAMPO TAC meeting is on an alternative Friday (see item g above). Please plan on attending Friday, April 10, 2026, same time and location. The complete 2026 and 2027 calendar listing of meetings is included in the meeting package.
