Your Input Matters

Transportation decisions affect the daily lives of everyone in our community. Whether it’s improving traffic flow, enhancing public transit, or creating safer streets, we need your input to shape the future of transportation in the Alamo Area. Your feedback is important to ensure transportation improvements align with the community’s needs and priorities.

We invite you to share your opinion in two ways: by completing a survey and by using our interactive map to provide input on AAMPO initiatives and pinpoint areas of concern. Click “Participate” to get started. If you need assistance accessing the survey or the map, please contact us at (210) 227-8651.

Your input helps shape the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), Transportation Improvement Plan Program (TIP), and the 2026 Transportation Conformity Determination.

About the Plans

Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP)

The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), Mobility 2050, is AAMPO’s long-range transportation plan. Developed in collaboration with the region’s transportation partners and the public, it outlines transportation improvements such as policies, programs and projects for the next 20+ years. The MTP sets the framework for AAMPO’s continuous, comprehensive, and cooperative regional transportation planning efforts.

Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

AAMPO’s Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) outlines short-term projects planned for construction over a four-year period. It is aimed at improved mobility for all users and all modes of transportation.

2026 Transportation Conformity Determination

Conformity determination is a process that ensures transportation projects and programs align with clean air standards and air quality goals for the region.

There are two ways to engage: (1) complete our survey and (2) use our interactive map. We encourage you to do the survey first and then the mapping exercise. If you need assistance accessing the survey or the map, please contact us at (210) 227-8651.

Share Your Thoughts

The Alamo Area is rapidly growing! Share your experience and opinions with us so we can better plan the future of mobility. The survey takes about 8-12 minutes to complete.
