a.      All AAMPO funded projects in the FY 23-26 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and those proposed for funding in the FY 25-28 TIP are being reviewed by AAMPO and the local sponsor. This task is to prevent funding lapses in light of the Texas Transportation Commission and Texas Administrative Code changes presented at the December meeting.

b.      The Executive Committee will be meeting soon to discuss the potential boundary expansion. Medina County Commissioners approved a resolution on January 8, 2024 to (partially) become part of the study area and discussions also continue with Kendall County.

c.      The Capital Area MPO and AAMPO are seeking to schedule a joint meeting of the Executive Committees sometime in the March/April 2024 timeframe. Topics of discussion are being developed and meetings dates are being explored. 

d.      AAMPO offices will be closed Monday, February 19, 2024 for President’s Day.

e.      The February Transportation Policy Board meeting will likely be cancelled.
