- AAMPO's
FY 24-25 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is under development. The
Technical Advisory work group will meet in April. The Board
presentation is scheduled for May with action in June.
- AAMPO's
quadrennial Federal Certification Review began earlier this month with
a desktop review by the Federal Highway and Transit Administrations and
will conclude with a federal on-site visit from April 4 - 6, 2023.
- AAMPO's
Annual Audit of Expenditures and Compliance was conducted earlier this
month. The audit report is scheduled for action at the April board
meeting.
- The
FY 2022 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant awards were
announced. Congratulations to Bexar County, City of San Antonio, and
the
City of Seguin. Bexar County was awarded $300,000 for the Bexar County
Safety Action Plan, the City of San Antonio was awarded
$4,400,000 for Zarzamora Street Mid-Block Crossings and High-Injury
Network Safety Campaigns, and the City of Seguin was awarded $265,200
for the City of Seguin SS4A Action Plan.
- AAMPO offices
will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023 in observance of Good Friday
and on Friday, April 28, 2023 in observance of the Battle of Flowers
holiday.
