- The AAMPO office will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022 in observance of American
Independence Day.
- The July 2022 Active Transportation Committee, Technical Advisory Committee, and
Transportation Policy Board meetings will likely be cancelled. Meetings will resume in
August.
- The US Department of Transportation has issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity for
the Bridge Investment Program (BIP). Funds will be awarded on a competitive basis for
1) bridge replacement, rehabilitation, preservation, and protection projects that improve
safety, efficiency, and reliability of the movement of people and freight over bridges and
2) improve the condition of US bridges.
- The AAMPO Executive Committee will likely meet in early August to review the
proposed AAMPO Fiscal Year 2023 Staff Operating Budget
