Allison Blazosky, AICP
Transportation Planning Program Manager
Title VI Liaison
As AAMPO’s Transportation Planning Program Manager, Allie leads a team of professionals planning for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods in the Alamo Area and bringing awareness to the MPO’s short and long-range planning processes. Allie has previously served as the MPO’s Active Transportation Planner and Regional Transportation Planner since joining the staff in 2013. She is a member of the American Planning Association and President-Elect of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) San Antonio Region. She holds a Masters of Urban Planning from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Trinity University.
Jaclynn Cedillo joined the MPO in November 2007. As the agency's Multimedia Specialist, she is responsible for all creative elements (graphic design and digital multimedia productions) from conceptualization to delivery. Jaclynn’s creativity has been integral to developing a clear and consistent brand for the MPO as an organization, as well as its plans and programs. Her fresh and inviting publications, videos, infographics, and social media posts are also key to educating and inspiring people to use alternative modes of transportation such as walking, biking, bus, carpool and ride share in the region.
Wendy joined the Alamo Area MPO in June 2016. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Northwest Vista College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Wendy assists in the development of GIS-based maps and datasets that serve to strengthen the MPO’s transportation planning efforts. She enjoys and has volunteered for causes that help to preserve the environment and educate the community, such as Texas Recycle Day, Earth Day, Graffiti Wipe Out, and GIS Day.
Administrative and Grants Financial Specialist
Maribel joined the Alamo Area MPO in 2019 as the Administrative and Grants Financial Specialist. She brings over 15 years of experience in accounting, retirement financial management and friendly customer service. She is dedicated in supporting the MPO team and providing sound financial practices. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word and enjoys supporting SEAS, Boerne athletics, and Texas Parks & Wildlife with her family.
GIS & Web Analyst
Clayton Elkins, a native of Houston, joined the Alamo Area MPO in June of 2008 as a GIS Analyst. Clayton graduated from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi in May of 2007, where he attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science while serving as a GIS Intern for the Corpus Christi MPO. Clayton’s skillset has expanded as a member of the AAMPO team to include web development to complement his knowledge of GIS. Clayton is involved in many MPO functions, which include web development, maintaining GIS crash datasets, and facilitation at public meetings.
Office Manager/ HR Generalist
Félix Escamilla joined the Alamo Area MPO in June 2001 as Grants Coordinator and currently serves as Office Manager/HR Generalist. He is committed to providing us with sound, responsible spending and fair employment practices.
Jeanne Geiger has more than 35 years of experience in local transportation planning. She is a San Antonio native who graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Sociology. She worked for three years at the local Texas Transportation Institute office, eleven years at VIA Metropolitan Transit and more than 20 years at the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization. She is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Unified Planning Work Program and the Transportation Improvement Program. Jeanne is also responsible for consultant procurement and oversees the Planning, GIS and Travel Demand Model sections. She particularly enjoys working with the other transportation agency staff members, realizing these partnerships are integral to the success of any transportation project.
Senior Transportation Modeler
Travel Demand Modeling Supervisor
Zack joined the Alamo Area MPO in April 2007 as Senior Transportation Modeler and leads its transportation modeling efforts by utilizing his twenty plus years of transportation modeling experience. He led demand modelers and traffic analysts in support of urban area modeling and corridor analysis for air quality attainment while employed at the Texas Department of Transportation. In addition, he provided technical support, training, and guidance for urban area travel demand modeling development and applications while employed at the Texas Transportation Institute.
Commute Solutions Planner
Lily Lowder is the Commute Solutions Planner at the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization. In support of the Alamo Commutes program, Lily assists regional transportation demand management initiatives and consults with employers on smart commuting. Lily holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Texas State University. In 2018, she was selected to participate in the POCACITO program in Germany to study sustainable transportation.
Cecilio has over 13 years of experience in GIS and joined us in July 2003. He manages and maintains various websites for the Alamo Area MPO and leads special multimedia and GIS intensive transportation planning projects. Cecilio participates and is instrumental in creating GIS related forums or committees to achieve synergy among our partner agencies in delivering visual solutions to our community.
Sid is a native of San Antonio and joined us in September 2003 as Senior Transportation Planner. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas State University-San Marcos. Prior to joining us, he worked as a liaison between the Texas Department of Transportation’s Transportation Planning and Programming Division in Austin, Texas and several MPOs across the state. In addition, he had served as the Assistant Director of the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council while pursuing his graduate studies. Our Transportation Policy Board appointed Sid as Interim Director in December 2005 and named him Director of the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization in May 2007. In September 2007, the San Antonio Business Journal recognized him as one of San Antonio’s “40 Rising Stars Under 40.”
Regional Transportation Modeler
Travis joined the Alamo Area MPO in March 2013 as a GIS Analyst. He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geography. Travis brings 20 years of GIS and forecast planning experience in both the public and private sectors to the MPO team.
Active Transportation Planner
Joey Pawlik is the Active Transportation Planner with the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO). He is a native of San Antonio who graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Sociology, minor in Urban Planning. Prior to joining the AAMPO, Joey was the Constituent Services and Community Outreach Manager for State Representative Barbara Gervin-Hawkins, Texas House District 120. Joey is passionate about bicycle and pedestrian safety having been a bicyclist and bicycle commuter most of his life. He looks forward to helping advance the Alamo Area’s active transportation planning goals and helping to contribute to road safety for all users. Joey will also support the Bicycle and Pedestrian Mobility Advisory Committees, as well as the MPO’s Active Transportation Program.
Bilingual Public Involvement Specialist
Ambar Perez is a native to Piedras Negras, Coahuila (México) and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from St. Mary’s University. She joined the MPO in 2008 as the Senior Administrative Assistant and now serves as the Bilingual Public Involvement Specialist. Ambar is responsible for community outreach, serves as the MPO’s contact for Spanish speaking individuals, performs multi-media language translations, and supports planning activities.
Senior Administrative Associate
Lori Stewart joined the Alamo Area MPO in January 2015 as Administrative Assistant. She brings twenty plus years of human resource, payroll and administrative professional experience to the AAMPO. Lori is committed to providing excellent administrative support and customer service.
Grants Financial Specialist
Christine joined our team in 2012 as the Grants Financial Coordinator. She provides grant management, financial-record keeping and purchasing support. In 1998, Christine enlisted in the Army, and served as a Logistical Specialist, Human Resources Specialist, and a Lead Financial Clerk for eight years. Following her deployment to Kosovo, she graduated in 2008 from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and in History. After graduation, she spent four years in the financial and administrative field, prior to joining the MPO.
Tabitha joined the MPO in January 2015 and is a native to San Antonio. She has many years of customer service experience, which makes her a great addition to the Administrative Department. She has excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality and loves to assist citizens and partner agency staff. She welcomes the challenges of being the MPO’s Front Desk Coordinator.
